For my assignment this week, I was originally going to try coding, but I decided I wanted to do something out of my norm. I have never liked English class or textual analysis, but you cant get better at something without practicing it!

My word cloud consists of every song by the artist Clairo from her most recent album, Immunity. I really love her music and the theme of her songs, as well as their overall vibe. I love her style of music and highly recommend you listen to a few if you haven’t heard any already.

Her music highly revolves around her coming out as bi and her sexuality. As another person who identifies as the B in LGBTQ+, I relate heavily to some of her song lyrics.

After putting all of the lyrics into the cloud, some of the biggest words were feel, care, time, and alright. To me, even though this is a culmination of many different songs, it creates a message of its own: it may take some time to figure out how you feel, and that’s alright.
